Our Work

Stronger Communities.Healthier People.A Thriving Rwenzori.

We implement community-led programs that promote sustainable livelihoods, conserve the environment and improve the wellbeing of people living in the Rwenzori region.

What We Do

Community Solutions for a Brighter Tomorrow

At AMA, we work with local communities to address social, economic and environmental challenges through practical and lasting solutions. Our programmes are designed and implemented with communities, for communities — ensuring real ownership, meaningful impact and sustainability.

We never claim partner-funded achievements as though AMA accomplished them alone. Every programme is attributed honestly: implemented by AMA, made possible through support from partners and visitors who believed in this work.

Our Approach

Community-Led. Partnership-Driven. Impact-Focused.

We believe in working hand-in-hand with communities, partners, government and other stakeholders to create practical solutions that last. Our approach is participatory, transparent and grounded in local knowledge, ensuring that our programmes respond to real needs and create long-term value.

Community Participation

Programmes begin with listening. Communities identify needs; AMA works alongside them.

Strategic Partnerships

We bring in external partners as supporters of community-defined goals, never as replacements.

Sustainable Solutions

Practical, locally-grounded solutions that last and create long-term value for households.

Measurable Impact

Transparent outcomes — from schools and water supplies to livelihoods and health outcomes.
